Just purchased a set of 315x30x18 BFG Drag Radials mounted on 10.5" wheels. I'm concerned about the wheel size relative to the tire size. Need opinions.

That's fine, an 11 inch rim is likely considered the ideal width, a 315 on a 10.5" is well within range.
That will fit fine, I have done it on a C5. Only problem with this size tire on a C6 is your rear wheel is now shorter than your front. In C5's that could cause problems with traction control, have not heard much about this on the C6.
Others have stated otherwise but I still think that they're talking about/referring to the 19" road racing/autocross tires, not a true drag radial...but maybe.
bfg has it at 11" on there web sight if it will work on 10.5 that would be great . I have 235 on my rims but need more tire 17 " rims will not fit z51
17" drag radials on front size C5 Z06 motorsport wheels WILL fit on Z51. I have it and have done it. I have 315-35-17 BFG drag radials on these wheels and they do fit. (they look a little funny as they stick out, but they do not rub....great for drag racing)
As far as traction control, as long as you turn it off, the car will perform fine. If you leave it on, the car will always think that the car is spinning, since the rear tires are turning faster than the computer thinks they are supposed to.
I would imagine the tire size you have should fit just fine on the wheel you have..Put it on and try it...let us know how it works!! (just turn off traction control)
Here is a pic of a burnout from HRP last week

I don't think it is a DR either. It would help at the strip I think but not a real DR. Unless they have a brand new product.

I think you would be better off with 295's or 305's in a 35 profile.
I'm putting on bfg's...295 35 18's for the spring for the track....on 10.5" Rims
