The C6 should have come stock this way. Quiet when you want it. Last I heard QTP were building a cat back w/ cutouts, guess they dropped the idea . Nice car Joe!

Well, they would certainly cost more than $400 and you'd still have to do the wiring, and these things are pretty tight on the cars so I am guessing the decided they need to be custom installed.

I am liking this mod more each day. Having the choice of LOUD or quiet is very handy.

I would like to know how complete the seal is in the closed position. Is there any exhaust leak? Also, will they develoe leaks from continued leaks?

I found no leaks at all with them so far. If a leaks does come-about, qtp tells you how to correct it.
I was at the corvette challenge this pasgt saturday. Spending all night at the track, it was a nice drive home when I closed the valves and cruise home listening to the radio quietly.
I would recommend this mod.

Its still in development. Have to get the fitment all right before we release it. Should be ready by summer. Hopfully earlier.

Nice pictures. Make a video up and we can put it up on website. Nice set up BTW.

Thanks! I'm very happy with your product. Two buddies and I all bought them at the same time, one more set to put on.

There is a fair amount of room where we put mine on the C6, even with the DTE brace. No rattles at all. I've got more pictures if you would like them, just let me know.

Feel free to use Steve's (wanttospeed) Video! Shows a nice drive on US-1 in the Florida sunshine, cutouts open and closed.

I don't think so. Steve was running 11.9's with just breathless headers, intake and drag radials in the Florida heat. That's pretty stout performance so I don't think the h-pipe and hollowed cats makes any difference. He's a good driver so of course that helps but his car is stout even with the factory h-pipe.

Thanks! You can buy direct from QTP (see above) or several vendors. I guess you might have shipping problems to Dubai - If I was you I would start with QTP and if they can't ship there they can probably recommend a reseller who can.

After a couple of months with this mod I love it more every day. Having the choice of loud or quiet is just great. I highly recommend it.

Best stress therapy out there. Open these up and hit a freeway on ramp and go through the gears. If you're not smiling when you are done you must be dead. It is sweet music.

You think there's room to fit them on an A6?

I'm surprised more people don't have these installed.
I was going to add QTP "cutouts" with my TT install so not to limit exhaust flow to 2.5" as with all other exhaust systems. Eventually I shelled out the $1800+ for the 3" APS system.

Glad to hear you are happy with them!

I didn't say they were cheap. I said I liked them. Perhaps you can find an honest shop local to you cheaper.

Even at that price you can spend $700 on your stock exhaust and have a great sounding system, loud or quiet, your choice. Much cheaper than Corsa or Borlas and they don't give a choice in sound.

I would think so. There is actually a fair amount of room up there. You'd need a good experienced installer though as those little pipes he made took him some time so that they fit up there with no rattles. It wasn't cheap as noted above but worth it to me.
