I thought they were very recently having a sale on them, or maybe not but highlighting how good it looks. Do a search; I don't know if it was in Gen, Tech or Parts but I know I saw it within maybe 5 days ago. Great pics.

It is only $160 more than a similar one with less vents and the ACP is carbon fiber instead of fiberglass.

The Hood we use on the race car has no inner supports. It is very light, but is also very weak.

We Added structure to the inside of our new hood to help strengthen it and create a piece that was suitable for street use and could be closed with out cracking it.

I'm not one to want to change hoods, but I am pretty partial to the one East Coast Corvette sells:

Check it out at the link above

Advanced Composites 1-717-232-8237 Ask for Terry.

Ask for World Challenge Hood - Fiberglass (C/F is more).

Ask for adding a Frame, so you can hinge it, not pin it on (slight extra charge). Does not come painted.

About $1700 + shipping + box (huge). Paint is about $350 (blocking) and paint ($320).

How much do you think they would charge for carbon fiber?

The front air duct is not functional. I used a dremel tool to open the scoop to allow air to enter the engine compartment.
