Default Can wide body conversions use Z06 wheel offsets?

I’m planning a Z06 factory wide body conversion soon and want to have the wheels ready when the conversion is complete. Do base coupes with wide body conversions use the same wheel offsets front and rear as factory Z06s? In other words, do base coupes have the same control arms and wheel carriers as the Z06?

Default Z06 body panel conversion and wheel offsets

The track width at the wheel mounting flanges is the same between the Z06 and the base cars. The difference in track width comes from the wheels and tires. This is true for the front and the rear of the vehicles.

This means that when you install Z06 body panels on a base C6 Corvette you can (and need to) use the Z06 wheel offsets.

We have done this conversion on several cars.

To make this thread one-stop-shopping for future searchers, can you confirm (or deny!) that the factory Z06 wheel offsets are:
front = 56 mm
rear = 79 mm

Are you doing the entire car, front and rear?

These are the regular C6 wheel offsets.

I can't find the front Z06 offset to save my life but I know the rear is +59mm for the Z06.

If doing just the rear you need stock regular C6 size and offset for the front which is 18 x 8.5, +56mm offset 245/40/18 tire size and for the rear you want stock Z06 size and offset which is 19 x 12, +59mm offset 325/30/19 tire size

So if a potential C6 buyer wanted to do just the rear fenders and keep the stocker C6 wheels are there spacers for the rear wheels that keep everything looking good? There would also be a set of wheels with Z06-sized rears for track tires, but the stock wheels and runflats would stay on the street.

Just wondering, how much is this conversion cost? minus rims and tires.

Just over $5k for parts (OEM) and even more if you change the inner front liners. Then you still have to have the fenders painted and installed unless you can do it yourself. That price can vary quite a bit.
