Dennis let me be the first to congratulate you.

No one is more deserving. You did it with style, you did it with grace, you did it with humility and honor. Just like Furman and Ranger before you. And those are the reasons why this day will go down in board history as a great day. Reminescent of the day that Jamie Furman ran 10.9 in a bone stock Z06. This is right up there with it. Congratulations.

Those of us who are familiar with you, know how much of an effort you put into it, and now it has culminated in this.

Congratulations to a man I am proud to call my friend.

Right up there with the best of them at 10.9 in a bolt ons LS2 based C6. I hope this ends any and all of the talk about what the LS2 can't do. It is a very capable power plant. 123.63 mph in the quarter removes any doubt. Thats flat out flying.

People are going to be talking about this one for a long time, and not just on this board. Here is a guy who has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt just what it can do.

The folks at Cartek did an excellent job with it, (they did my neighbors C5. Excellent work.) They and Dennis put together a 10 second C6 bolt ons package. And Dennis has been driving like a bat out of hell for the last several months now. This tears it.

Dennis, this takes the cake. ***Bolt ons LS2 C6 runs 10s*** and I cannot wait to see the Video. Congratulations my friend. Congratulations.

Put him at the top of the List Tommy.....and keep him there.

Unbelievable!!!! Congratulations Dennis, you are the LS2 Bolt ons champion !!!!

I knew that you would run 10`s.

Congrats!

I have a couple questions for you.

1) What tire were you on?

2) What was changed from last fall?

Not bad for an ex-Mustanger!!!!

Thanks!

To get an idea of just how quickly Dennis' car was moving on that 10 second pass, here is a comparison of the splits vs the splits of our quickest bolt ons Z06, with driver 07WhiteDevilZ.

I chose him because 07WhiteDevilZ is the closest someone in The C6 Z06 Fast List to that absolutely amazing 1.478 60ft time.

Dennis

60 ft 1.478
330 4.431
1/8 6.925
mph 97.75
1000 9.096
1/4 10.927
mph 123.63

07WhiteDevilZ

60'.............1.565
330'...........4.510
660'...........6.937
660’ mph...102.54
1000'..........9.016
1320'..........10.764
1320’ mph…129.77

Not to take anyghing away from 07WhiteDevilZ, because he is the UNDISPUTED BOLT ON KING in the C6 Z06 section, but thats flat out moving.

Wholeheartedly. Someone should do an article on this achievement. Not many bolt ons Corvettes make it into the 10s.

Not many bolt ons anythings make it into the 10s. Historic moment.

Dennis would have had him in the 1/8 by an eyelash
