Default 2008 LS3 Mobil 1 Oil Filter #

Can anyone tell me what the LS3 oil filter number is? I thought it was different from the LS2 but Advance is showing the same part number for both.

Thanks,
Dan

The 2007 and the 2008 owners' manuals show the same filter, PF48, part no. 89017524. It did specify the 2007 was for the 6.0 L engine, and the 2008 was for the 6.2 L engine.

Default oil filter 101

I like the wix too, I went back to the stock pf-46 on my 06 because, If you look at the top of any oil filter you've got the single big hole and the six smaller hole's compare the size of the holes the mobil filter holes are about half the size of the stock and there's some kind of o-ring right under the holes futher blocking flow, remember you want volume not pressure, choose the filter with the bigger holes
