Default Car lifts for the garage

I'm looking for some info/input on a garage air/hydraulic lift system for my car. My ceiling is only 8' so I'm only looking to get the cars 2'-4' off the ground to work under.

Is there such a thing for home garage?

Laying under the jacks is getting too be too much for the back.

Any links would be much thanks.

they are called midsize lifts. i got on about 1 year ago,6000lb cap,120 volt, some cars /trucks i cant raise to max cuz garage door opener.perfect for brake/tire work, hard for trans/exhaust.this one isnt a cheapee i tweights a lot. 1200.00 gregsmithequiptment in del.be advised you may have to put down 2x12 planks to clear lift. mine has 2 lifting cylinders and when a car is on it they are very stable ,some cheapees are weeble wooblers.if i knew how to post on a thread i would show pics but i can put them in my profile if ya want to see them

I just bought a Bendpac LR-60p its a well made lift. Just got it set up today. It doesn't take up any space the vette just drives over it. Won't be able to use it till tuesday, will let you know how I like it.

There was a real nice setup here that was really affordable. It was 9000lbs and like $1500. I got the other model because I have unlimited ceiling height, but I'll try and find the link and pass it on.

You mean 900lbs? If so, Jim_H posted one above fitting your description.

if you are handy with building. a friend of mine has a 4 post drive on ramp lift in a small garage,he had to do some modifying but he drives one on the ramps then raises it so he can drive his other vette underneath
