C6 Fitment of 18x9.5F 18x12R - ??
Hi - I would like to know if anyone is running this setup on a C6 (2005) Z51, and if they have any problems with the Traction control system, rubbing, etc
Thanks!
Thanks!
Front: 18x9.5 offset 56
Rear: 18x12 offset 59
Tires (Toyo R888R):
Front: 255/35- 18 Height 25
Rear: 335/30-18 Height 25.9
The above ratio F/R is : 1.036
The Stock ration F/R size is: 1.045
I have been successful with: 1.040 (255/35-18 295/30-19 Mich.PSS)

Burning Brakes
18x12 +59 on the rear will stick out beyond the fender by about an inch. It will therefore rub whenever the suspension is compressed. This is assuming that you have stock (narrow body) rear fenders.
Although the front to rear ratio is fairly close to stock (as you indicated), the individual diameters are each a fair bit smaller than stock. That could create a problem with traction control. Just a guess. Forgot to add: at 65MPH, your speedometer would read about 63 due to the smaller diameter tires.
The large front to rear stagger will also induce more understeer, in case that is a concern.

Thanks evrgrn - I have come to the conclusion that this rims size would not be so good for HPDE on a C6 - I would be concerned about rubbing. Interesting note about under-steer with the stagger as well - Thanks!
