Default Traction Issue

I am having A big Traction Issue when launching the car at the track the car is an 08 vette with an A6 and the Z51. I am looking into getting some drag radials but I wanted to try out my friends rims and tires but the issue is this . The rims are 17" Zr1 rims with nittos 315 on them will they fit on my car? and will I have a problem with the rims not having sensors?

They should fit and you wont have a problem with no sensors.

Nittos will help but not by that much since they're the least sticky of all the different drag radials out there.

As for the sensors, you'll probably see a "Tire Sensor" message on your dash but it won't put the car into limp mode. The only time that will happen is if the car does see all 4 sensors but shows low pressure in at least one of them (as would happen if you had a problem with a runflat).

Getting wheel hop from your runflats will take out your rear end pretty quickly but running with drag radials shouldn't.

Depending on your power level and track prep, you may still get spin even with drag radials. As long as you're not getting hop thought you shouldn't break anything.
