Rick- Do you have a dyno chart of the stage II setup? I'd love to see what the torque curve looks like.

That's a real stump puller! I like how the power comes on so early.

Bob,

Attached is your graph.

Jahan, the LS3 package we've been doing is cam only since the LS3 has L92 heads and we've been seeing 490+ HP with our stage 2 L92 cam, dual valve spring package, headers, cai, and tune. This package installed is roughly $4,575.00

Thank you

Is that rwhp?

Even if it's not, that's a good price. Does that include dyno time?

I can answer that. Yes, that's RWHP. The graph is my LS 2 m6. Your LS3 will be awesome.

Jahan,

It is RWHP and that is the installed price with dyno time and custom tune.

We installed our stage 2 L92 camshaft, dual valve spring kit, Kook's LT headers and X-Pipe w/ cats and a Corsa catback on a customers 2008 M6 Corvette and it made 489 RWHP / 436 RWTQ. This car has been a best ET of 11.23 @129 mph.

The specs on this cam are: 230/236 .590/.600 114 LSA

Here is the graph:

Rick, do you have a dyno graph with your stage 1 cam for the LS3? What headers did you use for this dyno graph? 1 7/8 or 1 3/4? Would the stage 1 cam have a flatter TQ curve (possibly more TQW down low), but only sacrifice a little peak HP?

I have a graph from an A6 LS3 with the stage 1 cam. The headers on the manual trans car were 1 7/8". The headers on the A6 car were 1 3/4" and the graph can be seen below:

I think that is Beefcake's car. Wow the stage 2 has a lot more power and torque. The TQ curve on the stage 2 is over 400 from 4k to redline, where the stage 1 falls off much sooner. Do you have a good idle video with the stage 2 cam? Will it pass the sniffer test in Cali.? Any bucking, surging, even at low cruising RPM (1300 - 1400)? Is there any advance in that cam? XE or XER lobes? RPM at idle?

You are correct, that is Beefcakes graph.

I cannot find a video of the stage 2 L92 cam, however I'd say it's between the LS-Series Stage 2 and LS7 Stage 2 at idle. You can hear the LS-Series Stage 2 here and the LS7 stage 2 here.

The stage 1 has no bucking or surging, and the stage 2 has a little bit under 1,500 rpms, but it's not horrible.

RPM idle is 900-1000 and there is no advance. Lobes are XER to my knowledge.

As far as sniffer tests, I can't guarantee it, but have had customers in CA order the cam and pass.
