How long to change shocks?
Assuming I have the right tools, and reasonable mechanical knowledge how long should it take to swap out stock shocks?
Rears look fairly easy front looks like they could take longer.

2-3 hrs depending how systematic you are. Picking up the individual wheel is the most difficult part. You have to be able to put some some of the vehicle weight back on the suspension the get the clearance necessary to pull out the shocks.

I think more like 2 hours or less for sure. because it easy compared to about any car. Change out those base shocks they are terrible.
I put some new z-51's on for now , But think I go to KYB's next!

Front Shock
I used a small section of chain I had lying around for the front shocks. I tried the wire on the back and the chain was easier. I compressed the top of the shock and dropped one loop of the chain over the shaft. Compressed the shock again and hooked the other end on the bottom of the shock, quick, easy and very strong.
