Default 2006 Seat Switch Electrical Diagram?

I am in the process of putting 2006 C6 Z06 seats in my 2002 coupe. I would like to figure out how to connect the 6 wires from my stock power seat tracks to the C6 seat switch.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2006 C6 seat switch that they could make available to me?

Thanks.

Thanks.

The switch that is on the seats that I have has an 8 pin connector. Does your manual have picture of 8 an pin pinout?

The pins are labeled:

ABCD
EFGH

Thanks that looks right. It is kind of hard to read. It looks to me like:

A - Rear up
B - Front up
C - horizontal forward
D - Front down
E - B+
F - horizontal backward
G - Rear down
H - not used

Is that what you see?

My 2002 seat system is ground referenced and this one is B+ referenced. What I am trying to do should still work since they are just normally open switchs that complete a circuit.

Thanks a bunch to you guys for helping.

I hope the pictures of the connectors and schematics help you get everything working.

However, I'm not sure it's that easy.

Under the bottom of the Z06 seat you're installing you'll see a couple of boxes. All the wiring goes through these boxes. One is the seat controller, and the other is the box for memory functions. Here's a picture of my Z06 seat:

I don't know whether all the functions are the same in the C5 and the C6, and I doubt all the wiring is the same in your C5 and your BCM may not be compatible with the controller and memory box on the C6.

I hope you can get everything working okay - good luck!!

I think you got it right, except H is Ground.

Below is a picture of the connector that you must be looking at, and it has the colors of the wires that may help.

I am going to be using the non memory seat track and electronics from my C5 seat. They bolt right on to the C6 seat.

I am hoping just to use the 6 way adjustment switch on the C6 seat to control the non memory electronics on the C5 seat track.

I just wanted to thank you guys for your help with the wiring diagrams. I did get the seats installed and was able to get C5 seat electrics working with the C6 seat switch.

I had to do some research on the net to get the correct Delphi connector shell and terminals (GM wanted way, way too much $$$). If you are ever looking for Delphi connector parts you might want to give http://www.mouser.com/ a shot.

I love this forum!

Thanks for all the information in this post!! Simply awesome.

Can anyone post a connector end view of C375 for a 2007? I'm looking into keeping the 2007 C6Z rails and electronics for my C5. In my 97, C301 uses 4 positions: orange, or/bk, bk/ bk/wht. Unfornately, my esi doesn't have a CEV for a 97, so I'm searching for the pinout of that as well

**I should also note: I do not have memory, and am not trying to add it (maybe later). I don't believe there is a way to control the seat heaters yet (without the PCM inputs), so that is also not a primary concern (although I'd really like to solve that one ) All I am concerned with at this point is powering the seat.**

Here's what I do have:

2004 C301 connector end view (for reference since I don't have the CEV for my 97):

2004 Seat Belt Switch connector end view (for reference since I don't have the CEV for my 97):

1997 seat schematic:

So I *believe* C301 in my 1997 (it only uses 4 positions) should be something like:

A = BK/WHT -- Seat belt switch signal - Driver
C = ORN -- Power seat breaker IP
D = BK -- Ground (G205)
E = ORN/BK -- SCM-L minifuse 4

From the above schematic, it seems like I'm looking for C375 instead on C301?

Possibly:
C375 A4 <--> C301 C
C375 B1 <--> C301 E

What I don't see from the C6 schematic is how to connect my ground (C301 D) or the seat belt switch signal driver (C301 A).

Hmmm. Maybe I should be looking for a pinout of the seat belt switch plug (at the seat belt buckle assembly) and take my C301 A directly to that plug some how)?

Ideally, where I'm headed with this is making and adaptor pigtail so I can preserve the harness ends on both sides.
