Default Why won't ls7 manifolds work on my car?????

i purchased a set of z06 manifolds along with cat pipe and h pipe..only to find out that there is no way in the world it would work on my 05 c6...the manifolds went right on but the cat pipe wouldn't even come close...I thought people were doing this swap...Any info please...

Hmmm... not sure why they won't fit. I have a '06 A6 and no issues.

I have them on my 07, from the manifolds back to the end of the hpipe, where i have it slimmed down to 2 1/2 inch then stock over axle...Mine is an M6, so not sure why you are having problems. Mine bolted right in

It's you, not the pipes. You're not installing it right. You cannot bolt on the cats with the manifolds are bolted on first. The manifolds have to be barely on so they can be moved outward and allow the cats to be bolted to them. Then you can tighted the manifolds to the heads.

I did this exact swap on my 05 manual coupe. No problems. When I did it, I placed everything in position before I started tightening bolts.

Installed on my 05 M6. You must install a piece at a time left loose and tighten all afterwards.

weli tried it again and worked like a charm...too bad i got an exhaust leak now..i'l work on that later though..i tired of messing with it..
