05 Z51 Mn6: L92/L76 combo stock heads and gasket .020 milled, ported intake/tb, 224/228 114 LSA cam, Melrose 1 7/8" headers, VaraRam, 440 rwhp/405 rwtq. To note, the ported intake did not produce any further hp just 5 more on the torque....although the throttle response seemed to improve. Also, there was no fly-cutting on the pistons....enough clearance with this setup. Not track action as of yet.
Later, I may try the .040 cometic gasket for higher compression.
AI CNC 243's, Custom grind cam, Kooks 1 3/4" catless Y, cutout, pulley, efan, CAI, 3200 stall, tune...AWD, 5000lb...low 12's...based on ET vs weight...its making some power (no AWD dyno's near). Idle Clip cutout closed/then open
I had DTE do the L92/L76 upgrade to my 07 M6. Along with the heads/cam, I added Dynatech headers, K&N cai, Corsa sports, and underdrive pulley. I went from 353/357 stock to 460/432. The car had 450 miles on it when it underwent the surgery. I don't know the cam specs, but it's a small one - maybe a 3 out of 10 in size. I wanted reliability and driveability over numbers. It is absolutely perfect for me.
L76 Intake is ported.
TB is ported.
Cam: 228/232 XER 114 LSA
Heads cleaned up on exhaust side for better I/E flow ratio
LG headers w/cats....a clear TQ gain with these heads
Fidanza Al flywheel/LS7 clutch
Royal purple fluids
Cartek /breather/catch can (no oil return in intake path makes octane higher and allows more timing)
