Default Loose gas tank cap

Has anyone ever heard of a loose gas cap? Mine loosens up.I will go to the gas station and the cap is always loose. No one is playing or tampering with it.It just loosens up when I drive it.When I gas up,I turn the cap until it clicks.Maybe I need a new gas cap.Any advice would be appreciated.Rod: flag:

They had a recall on these a while back. Take it in and they should replace it.

My 09 is loose, I thought it was a case of not putting it on correctly, although each time I gas up I have been finding it off, now I know that I did not forget to tighten it!

These caps are notoriously cheaply made...that's the bad news. The good news is they are also cheap to buy. I got one from Gene and did it myself, since I was past the warranty.
