I had a local guy up here in Sacramento do one for my coupe and I'm sure he'd be able to hook you up if you don't mind the drive.

PM me if you'd like more info.

wolfecraft makes one. Probably easier to get one fabbed locally if you can find a reputable person.

This question seems to come around every month or two. In the end, there doesn't seem to be fabricators out there that have done any more than a "one-off" for c6 verts. I would love roll bars (not a full cage) for my c6 vert that 1) still allows full usage of the convertible top, 2) won't require me to cut into the waterfall and 3) will provide me regulation rollover protection for HPDEs

Not as concering is how this thing looks, as long as it's not hideous.

Someone posted a c6 vert a while back with a fabricated rollbar that used a bent bar to work around the waterfall without cutting into it. Unfortunately, not much info was posted other than those pictures.

I'd call Pfadt. They make one for the C6, and if they don't make one for the vert, they probably would know who to suggest. Some pics here

I too am also interested in a Rollbar for my vert.
I too have posted on the several threads that exist regarding this item.
I too have checked around with quite a few fabricators... none for a vert.
I too looks like I'll have to do a "custom" job.

I did a custom one for my C5 vert... very nice job... removeable, top worked correctly, looked great... but would NOT be considered legal as far as SCCA is concerned. Even though I had an engineer certify it to the SCCA specs... it did NOT conform to their design.... obviously capability was not as important as their "design".

So, I am still looking for one for my C6 vert (like you guys).

Hi Guys Just to let you know my 2008 vert is going in on the 27th and getting 6 point roll bar installed. It will go behind waterfall so as not to have to cut into it.And the top will still be usable. Will post pictures after install.
UPDATE: 05/08/2009 Ordered 6-point roll bar from wolfe race craft for C-5 convertable less cross bar on main hoop. My Shop in PA is going to fabricate chrome molly cross bar to be installed behind the waterfall in the trunk area so that wedon't have to cut the waterfall. Was supposed to gomin on the 27th but wolfe did not have material to ship.Spoke to them today said they were shipping today so i should see it by tues or wed of next week.I will keep everyone updated. The shop that is installing it is a custom race car & frame builder and it will be NHRA approved.Hope to set up install ASAP after parts arive depending on shop schedule. Told him we have a list of members that would like to have one installed after they see mine.

OK, and then the big question is: will it meet specs for racing organizations such as SCCA, etc.?

I just finished a long discussion with my race shop guy about the same topic ... so I'll be following this thread with interest!

Up at Mosport, I can run my Vert with no issues ... even did a couple sessions with the top down ... which really makes the driving experience that much more exciting!

I want to join my friends heading down to Watkin Glenn in May ... and they told me that the reg's are a lot more demanding down there ... they won't even allow a ride along passenger with helmet!

So I'm hoping there is a solution out there that allows me to maintain my power top.

I agree - I have one and wondered if it would fit a vert. Great folks to deal with
