Will Mickey Thompson 295/45R17 fit regular C6?
They claim to be 28X11.5X17 anyone know if it will work with the C6? I have around 600 whp and looking for traction but don't have 18inch rims. I have MT ET Streets bias ply for the tract but want something to drive on the street with. Anyone know anything about these tires?

I have these very same tires. I have them mounted on C5z06 fronts. The handling is terrible for the street. However, the tires downright hooks up. I have 530whp on motor and a little over 700 on the 200 shot.
At the track I haven't fully launched the car. It is easy to hook up with these tires with 3.90 gears. The one pass on nitrous I locked out first gear and pulled a 1.8 60' and the car went 11.1@136 spraying it through 3 gears. It feels really surefooted going down the track but the minute you let up on the gas going through the traps it feels very squirley in the rear. I just have to remember to keep straight and not to do any sudden braking to unload the rear of the car to avoid that squirley feeling. It almost feels like you are running a full slick.
No rubbing on the fender, but when I lowered the car it rubbed. At stock height, no rubbing.
I originally bought these so that I can go though the 1/4 in 4 gears instead of 5 chasing a 140mph trap speed.
Mine are for sale, only about 100 miles to the track and back. PM me for details.
