Default A6 Differential swap write-up????

first of all.....yes, I did a search

Found a good write up on a C5 swap but was wondering if anyone had a link to a C6......although I'm sure they are very similar

looking to go from 2.56 to 3.42

I would suggest contacting CF member Christopher (thesubfloor). He has changed his gears many times and he's very helpful.

The car is going to be ludicrus speed from a roll with 3:42's. It's strong enough to break them loose @ 50-55 now when it's cool out. I would throw a small 2600 converter in too, FWIW.

2600 .....is that all???

going to see how it does at the track first with the gears......have a set of 17" C5 wheels sitting here with some MT Drag Radials in the mail....hopefully there will be a cool evening sometime in the near future to race....its been nasty here even in the evenings

I'm a believer in converters, if you are going to change the rear you should also change the converter, you will be glad you did.
I did my 3.42 first, they are great, but with the converter it's FANTASTIC, it drives normal
idles great and it sets you back in the seat any time you floorit!!

Doing a stall also is definately the way to go.
