Default Best C6 Z51 replacement rotors

My rotors are shot with 8k miles after burning through 4 sets of pads (3 stock z51 sets and one set of Carbotech XP10 front/XP8 rear).

So, what's the best value replacement rotor? The fronts definitely need to be replaced and I need another set of pads front and rear?

Oh, I track the car (obviously), so a good combo set is ideal, but willing to swap pads between street/track as I've gotten pretty good at swapping pads.

I searched the forum, but couldn't find any definitive solutions.

cory.. i know alot of ppl use Z51 blanks. They are less prone to crack then the drilled z51 rotors.

you must track the car every day or ride around with your foot on the brake pedal to go thru 4 sets of pads in 8000 miles

I go through an entire set of pads in a track weekend. Let's just say I am pretty aggressive.

Anyone else have input on replacement rotors for an '08 Z51 C6?????

There's a whole section on brakes in this month's issue of 'Vette magazine. DBA (Disc Brakes Austrailia) has Z-51 size rotors, but you might think about upgrading if you are going to continue with heavy track use. West Coast Corvettes offers factory Z06 brakes complete kit, rotors, pads, ss lines and Motul on sale for $1700. But then you will need new wheels to clear the calipers.
grins,
Don

On a semi-related note, I checked your profile and you dont list any brake upgrades. Your pads and rotors would last a little longer with some ducting to keep them cooler. Z06 brake ducts are a real inexpensive and quick install mod which would help a bunch. LG makes some killer looking looking pieces which will provide better cooling right where it needs it. Im deciding right now which of the two to go with for my car.

Have you thought about going with the LG spindle duct kit to keep those front rotors running cooler?

Yes I could definitely use some mods to help keep the brakes cooler. Thanks for the recommendations!

Matter of fact, not long ago on Parts, I saw some LG ducts for sale. Could still be; suggest maybe a search?
