In the picture it looks like the strap goes from the bar down through the holes then back up over the shoulder. Maybe it's just the pic
It is nearly level when the seat is in there and adjusted correctly. That is the passenger seat simply set in the drivers side so I could move it in and out of the shop and snap a couple pics. It is about 6-8" further forward then I would usually sit, causing it to look like more of an angle then it is.

Here are a couple pics with the seat in the right position. These give a little better angle.

Default harness bar vs roll bar?

Looking for feedback from those that have one or the other.

PS> Hardbar is out of the running as I don't like the mounting, too easy to twist the bar, not good for a camera mount.
I too want to add bars to install racing seat belts, but for safety sake I am thinking I should put in a roll bar, maybe a Phadt? Anyone else out there think this is an idea worth considering?

I realize this thread is old but Google brought me here so Ill add what I found. It may help someone make an informed choice.

The directions for the BK bar show the bracket inside the panel and it looks beefy compared to the sharkbar.

http://www.pfyc.com/supportfiles/c62026install.pdf

At the bottom of the install directions for the sharkbar it says "Vetteworks Harness bars are for low speed applications only"

I plan on tracking my car so the Sharkbar is out.
