Default Power lumbar fuse keeps blowing

I can't keep my power lumbar adjustment working because the fuse keeps blowing. If anyone has had this problem, what was the culprit?

Old thread, I know.

Did you find the problem?

I have a 2012 Centennial Grand Sport with the same problem. The fuse that is blowing is the circuit for the drivers seat only, lumbar, side bolsters and heat.

If you move the seat forward and aft often, it is likely a short in or near the connector under the seat. I would also start a new thread with this as you might get more interest.

Some will still be interested in the findings and repair. Please post what the outcome was. My guess is:

Shorted heater pad
OR
Like was previously posted, damaged connector or harness under the seat

I will post the findings.

I recently had the seat repaired under warranty with a new seat track installed. The driver's memory seats stopped working properly and the seat had some movement. The diagnosis was bad seat position sensors. So a new seat track with sensors was installed.

The tech found the wire shorted on stud at ground location H-10 (doc #2567211). He repaired and insulated the short in circuit #1640.

This required removing the IP fuse block and Bose amp for access.

Everything works fine now.
