Default Bolt Torque on 2008 LS3 Oil Pan

I have a very slight oil leak coming from the oil pan gasket area. On page 9-594 of the service manual it shows a bolt tighting diagram. If I am reading this correct, the 2 rear bolts are torqued to 106 lb in and the rest are torqued to 18 lb ft.
I just want to confirm that this is correct before I put a torque wrench on them.........just don't want to break a bolt or strip out the block.

Thank you for your help.

Your values are correct. M6 bolts are 106 lb Inch not ft. and the M8 are 18 lb ft.

hmmm. what does 106 lb-inch convert to in lb-ft ? I don't have those markings on my cheapie Harbor freight torque wrench...time for a new wrench I suppose.

To convert foot pounds to inch pounds, multiply by 12.
To convert inch pounds to foot pounds, divide by 12.

~8.8 ft-lb

About anything below 15 lb ft you are better off using a torque wrench that reads lb inches. JMO
