20psi warm in the staging lanes after making a pass

I usually do a ~10 second burn out and smoke the hell out of them

I'll hold the RPM's ~4,000rpm and then slip the clutch

When I keep my revs up and am smooth with the clutch, I'll spin some and hook and go and that's what produced the 1.9's and the lower ET's.

When my revs drop a bit and I'm harsher w/ the clutch release, I'll jump and bog and surge forward and hook. I cut a 2.05 60' every time doing this and always run between 12.25 and 12.35

I wish I had some good advice for you. I have an automatic. It's so easy, a caveman can do it.

PM Joe G on this forum. That's his screen name. He is my mentor for the track and other crap too.

Don't get discouraged. I had 14 passes between 12.011 and 12.094 before I finally dipped into the 11's. They were spread out over a few days short of a year, which seemed like an eternity.

After you break the 12 second barrier, your next goal will be 11.49. I did that too and thought it'd be enough. It's not, and probably won't be for you either.

Keep having fun.

haha the DA for that was 8201 and that corrects out to be a 10.80 at 126.3 so jeff you have an easy 11 second car. maybe next time out you can a better DA

Yeah but check out that barometer reading (32.57 ), kind of makes up for those slightly warm 167 degree ambient temps.

You can't say a thing pal. You were there racing your truck that night, remember?

Those temps don't bother me. They're getting me ready for my next step after this life. I always say that I don't want to go to heaven. I won't know anybody there!

i put the 32.57 in the DA calculator also, i kinda thought that would bring it down more.
