Typical LS2 Cam Upgrade
Check out this 2005 C6 that came in for some power upgrades. This LS2 powerplant now has an MTI Racing camshaft with a matching valvetrain upgrade. We also included a LS Cloyes Hex-Adjust double roller timing chain along with a 25% underdrive pulley to keep everything in time and get some more power. To finish things off we also installed an MTI Racing Six Shooter Corvette Shifter for fast, precise shift action.
With the added upgrades this LS2 Corvette jumped from 347RWHP to 407RWHP.
Mr Brackery emailed me a couple of days later and I quote "So far I would say money well spent. The car performs better than I thought. The idle lope is exactly what I was looking for".

This Corvette had long tubes on it before the cam swap. The lope at idle is certainly noticeable at idle, but the driving mannerisms of the car remain as stock.

Long tube headers and it did 347rwhp?! I currently have a ls2 with an Airaid CAI, no cats, no mufflers (straight pipes, while I buy my exhaust... Just need headers and midpipe... Bought some modded Z06 mufflers) and a predator tuner with NGKs tr6s at 105* weather and I dynoed at 348.24rwhp... And I want to get a re dyno withe the same setup as I know the 105* temps pulled all my timing!
What ki d of headers is he running? 1 3/4 or 1 7/8?
Regardless... A 60rwhp/70rwhp gain from a cam is always impressive. Would u mind telling us the specs on the cam?

You're right, it was Africa HOT when we did his car. It was over 102 degrees in the dyno with good 'ol southern humidity.
So yes, we were happy with the gains.
The cam used was around 225 dur .615 lift
Any of the following cams would work great as well:
Blower Cam 1
Blower Cam 2
