Default C-6 Oil leak dripping down to oil filter.

I am hoping there is a sender unit or something else beside the upper oil pan gasket is leaking. We have replace the rear main seal. engine block seal, lower oil pan new oil filter and changed the oil.

You don't have your profile filled out which would help but....directly above the oil filter is where the oil cooler lines would attach to the block if you have a Z51 car. There would be a fitting with two bolts and a gasket that secures the oil lines to the block. If you don't have a Z51 car, then you have a small metal cover plate with the same two bolts...believe they have a 10mm head. There is a gasket under that fitting. Check to see if those two bolts are snug.

If Z51,check for a hairline crack in the a oil line fitting fitting above the oil filter.

Thanks I'll try to complete profile. Yes it is a Z51.

Thanks I'll look for a crack after I try replacing the gasket on the Oil Cooler line.

Will the gasket to the oil cooler was not the fix I was hoping for. So, I am going to try Mystic oil leak as a fix until I can save the money to drop the A-Frame under the car to get to the upper oil pan gasket. Thanks

As a side note I started out fixing the rear main seal on the engine and replace or did maintenance from the rear end to the rear main seal, engine block seal, new tran fluid & filter, gas filter, Rear Sway Links, power steering Idler arm, A/C idler arm, (both belts had 157,000 miles on them) Oil pan gasket, Flywheel (mite as will I am already there), Battery and oil cooler gasket.

I have a good shop to go to for repairs. Gererld has repaired my vettes for years and he lets me get dirty helping.
