Default Convertible snaps

My snaps keep coming off and won't allow the top to power. What can I do to make the snap a tighter fit?

I hate to sound like a dummy but I have a 2011 Convertible and I have no idea what snap your talking about.
Are you talking about the cover board in the trunk that has to be in place for the top to operate. Mine is very tight. As a matter of fact, it is hard to snap into place. Make sure your pushing the cover all the way onto the buttons to engage the switch and snap into place. It will just lay on there and not engage unless you really press hard and have it lined up just right.

If this is not what your talking about then maybe you can clarify.

Some have just covered the switch with tape or other material so it's always engaged, even when the separator is down. Obviously you have to remember that so you don't accidentally try to put the top down with something in there.

Yes, am talking about the snaps that hold the boxed area for the convertible to to fit into when down. Seems like the snaps are just worn and they trigger the sensor to not allow the top to go down. I dont want to circumvent the sensor.
