I understand that vacuum is what closes the flaps, but when the motor goes into boost will it damage anything in the controler?

Thanks for the clarification. I will check my visor tonight. I looked at the instruction on your site but they don't outline the EZ Tap installation. They are showing the "Difficult Tap" installation at the rear of the intake.. do you have anything outlining the EZ Tap install location and details? I have an 07 Coupe... I understand there have been some fitment issues with the vacuum line "T" on some model years... Thanks again.

Peter.. those are the instruction I downloaded from your site. There's nothing about the EZ-Tap connection in there. These describe making the vacuum connection at the back of the Instake. I thought the whole point of the easy tap was that there is a T that you can connect somewhere in the front of the intake? Also, there have been comments about the "T" not having the correct size fittings for the existing vacuum lines on some model years. Do you have instructions showing the EZ-Tap install?

Hi Francis, The e-ztap instructions are sent to customers only and the fit is correct for both ls2 and ls3. It’s a 3 min install of the e-z tap.

Peter,

Got the kit today. Thanks for the fast service. All I need now is to have the mufflers arrive.

How much extra cost would a dead pedal switch add?

100% no, the power is taken from the seat heater and the seat heater circuit is not powered with the car off so there cannot be any drain unless you installed it incorrectly, you should re check

Default "NPP in a Box" is Great

Had the kit along w/ NPP mufflers installed on my "07 today. Shop rate was cheap as the installation was a breeze....and I'm loving the sound and functionality.

Did I read that right? M2W is included? I don't have homelink, so I would need a switch. Did I also understand correctly that the unit will ONLY function w/ a switch and NOT on rpm?
Thanks

In my case, throw in a set of LG headers, and you have rolling thunder at the flick of a switch. The combo of the headers and the NPP in Wild gives you AMAZING sound and “HEY, LOOK AT ME!!!” volume…the tonality and sound is that of a NASCAR stock car at WOT outside the car, yet quieter and less drone inside the car than the GH* exhaust I was so fond of. The install is very straight forward, easier with a lift, but as has shown, you can do it on jack stands. Here are some pics and descriptions of the step by step process; you will receive complete illustrated instructions with your purchase.
So, according to the first sentence....does this not work on 2009+ models?

It works on any C6 that does not have the NPP option, you will need to get the NPP exhaust system for this to work. If you already have the NPP exhaust system then all you need is our Mild 2 Wild to open and close the flaps

Default Npp in a box

C6 only or Z06 (LS7) also? does RPM trigger it or just the manual switch?

C6 or Z06 and the switch is on or off
Please note that you will need an NPP echaust system for the NPP in a box to work.
