Grand Sport X-Pipe Diameter Size?

Grand Sport X-Pipe Diameter Size?
I have a 2010 Grand Sport manual coupe (with dry sump, etc.), and I was looking at adding a B&B Fusion exhaust system to replace my stock (non-NPP) system.
Since B&B offers two fusion systems that are either 2.5 or 3" in diameter, I was wondering what size my Grand Sport would currently have. I believe that it has an X-Pipe, but I'm wondering if the diameter is 2.5" like the base coupe, or if it's 3" like the Z06.
I was just curious in seeing if the stock exhaust diameter is 2.5", if it would be worth going with a new 3" X-Pipe as well as a 3" Fusion exhaust.
Thanks in advance!

Gotta be 2 1/2 for the LS3 engine. Just because the GS looks like a Z06 it is not.
I just installed the Z06 manifolds and "H" pipe, which are 3 in. on my LS3. I saw some nice gains. Check out my thread it is only a few days old.
I have not heard of any body doing what your are asking. Installing the mid pipe without the manifold up size to.
Your problem is going to be attaching the 2 1/2 in catted pipe with the 3 in 'X" pipe.
Why not just do the manifolds too and get some extra power and the fit will be perfect all the way back if you stay 3 in to the cans. A tune will be required.

Better give this project some serious thought.

MY car is in winter storage so I can't check any of the pipe dia.s until it comes out. I didn't realize the pipe from the manifold to the cats is 2.5", if that 's the case then there is no sense changing the mid pipe to 3".
