Default Does anyone happen to have a wiring schematic for the start button switch?

I have searched around for a while looking but I am not sure if I am articulating myself well.

I want to install a corvette push start button on another car but can't seem to find the wiring schematic anywhere. I know I am going to have to make my own harness for the switch and that isn't a problem but I don't know what progs get what.

Any help would be appreciated! Diagrams are awesome!

Thank you,

The start button on a corvette only supplies a analog signal to the BCM which then does a check and sends a serial string to the ECM and then activates the crank/start relays.

What car are you wanting to add a start switch to?

It's referred to as the ignition mode switch. It's also used on the Cadillac XLR. Six wires go to the BCM. Two wires go to the RCDLR. One goes to ground and the last goes to "lamp dimming" for a total of 10 wires. You'll most likely change your mind about using it. Lots of people use the start button out of a Honda S2000.

Ken Well done on the schematic.

I've done some deep research on the NO START issue and the two other schematics below are required when troubleshooting a NO Start issue:

NOTE! These are from an 05 C6!

Thanks for the intel guys! I was thinking it was purely a relay switch...

Try the Honda S2000 start button. It might better suit your needs. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2152721
