Default Granatelli MAF or LS6 MAF help please

Hi,
I need a MAF for my c5 Z06 440ci, LS2 block with
LS7 heads, intake manifold and LS2 TB.

The question is, Granatelli MAF or LS6 MAF?
I hear the LS6 is good, but I have a opportunity to
get a Granatelli MAF or a LS6.

Which one and why Please?
Thanks everyone! I bought a LS6 MAF from nmp27 a forum member! Thanks for the help!

Between those two, I'd likely only go with the LS6 MAF.
While I don't believe everything that I read on the internet LOL, I've just heard of too many difficulties from people who've tried to properly tune a Granatelli MAF equipped LSx vehicle, though I know some have successfully done it.

The LS6 maf will be more consistent and easier to tune / scale , IMHO.

Over the years I have seen a lot of negative posts on grantelli mafs - not just for corvettes. They seem like they are one step above those "chips" people sell on ebay that are just resistors that are put in line with the maf...

Have you considered the ls3 unit?

The output resolution on the Granatelli is not good at all. It is used for people who want to trick them computer with a slight false information to increase performance. It works on a stock car or a CAI car but on a car that needs a real tune its junk, I dont recommended it at all.

No, I herd the LS6 is what I needed. Is the LS3 compatible with my wiring harness for the 20 Z06? What is the benefit of a LS3?
Thanks

Ls2 owners will sometimes use an adapter to go from the ls2 sensor to the ls3. zip sells them for around 30 bucks i think.

It will also require remapping the ecu.

Im not sure if youll get much advantage over the ls6 piece, but I figured it would be worth noting just in case you needed another option...

Hopefully a tuning expert will jump in and explain.

EDIT: Some more info on the various MAFs:

I have a Granettelli MAF sitting in my garage gathering dust if anyone wants it for dirt cheap......free shipping!

Except I do have morals......anyone I sell it to I know I will be screwing them.......just a disclaimer.
