ok guys, havent had a chance to look under my car yet but does anyone know if their are any baffles/resonator on an 06 oem exhuast? i know i could remove the mufflers/cats, but from experiance that would be too loud for what i am looking for nowadays. Is there anything i coud do?

Just cats and mufflers on a base c6. Go with a full zo6 exhaust (manifolds to mufflers). If the z0 mufflers are modded it sounds really good. A full system is under $1000 which will net you somewhere around 25rwhp plus if you want it to have zero drone you can turn the one outlet off.

good idea!!!! ill start looking for them i was thinking about that becuase i didnt want a really loud exhuast system and i didnt want to spend 700-1500$ for an axle back lmfao!!! besides i love the stock z06 sound

I have 2 full z06 exhausts, 1 has stock mufflers and 1 has modified mufflers. I thought the stock mufflers sounded good until I put the modded ones on. These systems for ls2 or 3 cars are a good bang for the buck.

I went the modded z06 exhaust route too. $700 or so for everything. Can't beat it for the price. The original headers and cats look like toys in comparison when you put them side by side
