Default Just got G6x3 cam and lg superpros installed

Finally pulled the trigger and got my cam and headers installed. My car is an 08 manual with 11000 miles on it. It baselined bone stock at 384 rwhp and 382rwtq. I had RMCR in Colorado Springs install the lg g6x3 cam kit along with lg 1-7/8ths headers, no cats and z06 axle back exhaust. They tuned it and the best we could get was 464 rwhp and 433rwtq. From what ive seen this seems a bit low for this cam package. Any thoughts?

Compared to others with the same cam, the numbers do appear low. What dyno? Were the numbers SAE corrected? Maybe the altitude in Colorado had something to do with it? Do you have a CAI? The baseline numbers appear normal and good. Were the baseline numbers and post mod numbers obtained on the same dyno?

Everything was done on the same dyno, different days and the temp was about 20 degrees cooler on the baseline dyno. I have the factory air intake as well. I was hoping for 485 or so

I think its time for an intake. I was holding off as Im planning the a and a kit in the spring. I thought the dyno calibrated for the altitude as the baseline was spot on with most others. I believe the correction factor was 1.24!

The addition of a nice CAI with a retune should get you another 15 RWHP SAE, especially with that cam. The motor needs more air than what it is getting. Now if you are going to supercharge it, then it would be a waste of money. However, that cam is not best suited for forced induction.

82 Hp for headers and cam isn't too bad at all, especially with no UD pulley and stock airbox. CAI should definately be in your future.
