Default Beating the NPP M2W dead horse

I hope I'm not too badly, but I have a very serious question for those that have the M2W with the NPP exhaust and have had it a while.

I have the M2W "kit" and a brand new 2012 Corvette with the NPP exhaust option.

Has anyone with the M2W kit gotten any codes or any other problem with using it vs warranty work? I ahve read that the first thing the factory requires should a warranty issue arise woth a Corvette engine is a printout of the computer exception codes.

Call me a weak sister, but I do not want to jeopardize my warranty.

2010 GS, no codes thrown.

Same thing as pulling a fuse in and out. Should have no impact.

The only issues I have read about are battery drain, I dont know first hand. You may want to search here on the site.

I am using the Sunset Orange Creations controller with no issue.

I bought a npp exhaust for my 06 with an x pipe. I have a whistling noise at wide open throttle. Any ideas?

Nope, 2010 with 6k miles. Installed it the 3rd day I had it, and it's been music all along.

2009 Coupe, 38k miles and no problems/codes.

I'm a little slow, didn't get mine installed until the 4th day.

I just had the engine in my 08Z replaced under warranty with no objections about the M2W installed. Probably didn't know it was there since the engine didn't run to well when I took it in. GM did check the ECU code for modifications. There is a record of every change in code whether installing a non GM tune or installing the factory tune. M2W doesn't require any change in the tune.

I installed mine as soon as I got my then new 2011 GS home from the dealership. I now have 6k miles on it, no problems. I've ran into triple "000" no problems. In fact it gets better MPG with the muffler in the open (Wild) position.

Regarding the battery drain, there is an optional installation that does'nt drain the battery. I prefer the optional rather than the standard set up.

Corvettemorris, what is the triple "000" you are referring to?

We used the foot switch setup, no battery drain with that one also.
