Default Questions about C6 Grandsport Performance Upgrade

I have a 2011 GS (Automatic) I just purchased new about 4 weeks ago. I brought it in to the shop to have several upgrades.

1.) AA Corvette SC Kit
2.) GT9 Camshaft upgrade
3.) LG LT Headers
4.) Nitto NT05 Tires

Can anyone give a rough idea of what dyno numbers this will produce or flywheel HP? The baseline was ~400 on a Mustang Dyno. Just new to the forum and wanted to see what others who may have the same upgrade would think. Let me know Thanks!

If your baseline was 400rwhp, that dyno is already pretty generous. The above listed mods should have NO issue yielding 600+rwhp depending on the pulley you are using on the blower. Just make sure it gets a good tune, it should rip pretty good after its done. I highly recommend a Meth kit, not required by any means but is good piece of mind and also would allow you to push the car further if you choose.

2011 GS auto max flywheel hp... 436

minus auto loss 15% to rearwheels approx... 370 rwhp

plus aa gain 170 rwhp
plus gt9 gain 20 rwhp
plus lglt gain 30 rwhp

i'd expect approx 595 rwhp plus some gain with a good tune.

this is only a guess based on others statements on their gains for those individule upgrades.

sometimes i think folks fudge their results.. lol

You didn't dyno 400whp on a mustang dyno bone stock, especially through an auto. I'd have a talk with the shop doing the work. They should have told you what to expect given the kind of coin you will be dropping on all those mods and labor.

Also I see you're new here. Do a search as there are literally dozens and dozens of threads that talk all about the AA kits.

Thanks for the posts! I know the shop told me when they did the dyno runs it was a cold 50 degrees outside so they werent at normal temps. I am not sure as I am new to all of this. I know they should be tuning tomorrow. I will post the results.

The total install price for everything was
$12200.00 and I am selling my stock tires for around 1K so I will have 11200 into the build.

Your estimates are WAY low

I picked up close to 250rwhp with my A&A blower and meth with the standard 3.8" pulley at 10pounds of boost on a stock motor car with longtubes.

Went from 367rwhp to 598rwhp SAE in my LS2 A6 then added meth for safety and redynod at 625rwhp after a few more pulls and tweaks.

Your numbers were likely uncorrected then.

Be sure to get SAE corrected numbers for accurate comparison. It corrects the numbers to a standardized level.
