Beast Mode...from Diablo Predator?
I have done what thousands of owners have done already, but it is really like having a kid, if you don't have one you really don't know what it is to be a parent.
I bought the Diablo Predator Tuner and was skeptical about it since I had to upgrade my PCM/ECM (for 2005) just to use it. But once I went through all the steps to make it work, got hooked up with 06MonteSS after I installed CAI and headers for a "Custom Tune".
Fellow Vet Owners, it feels like I have brand new vehicle. I really don't have a desire now for a supercharged/turbo like buy. 06MonteSS can get you closer to the "Need for Speed" in a more economical manner.
So those in doubt the Diablo Tuner is still a good buy with a tremendous payoff in performance, all done in your own garage.

Actual Tune
I believe a "real" tune would do even more, but being able to do it mostly by myself offers a lot of self satisfaction. There is time and distance complications for me regarding an actual tune, just sharing alternative option.

Hey I'm not spam, I'm more like beef "AND" I'm Number 1 at the moment in the 1/4 mile GS bolt-on section using the Predator canned 93 tune.
Number 2 in the GS bolt-on section I "believe" also has NPP and all the same mods but has a "professional dyno tune" and a "high dollar CAI" (not a OEM mod. like me) along with higher quality headers and wait for it...................................... ........................ is four tenths & 3 mph slower!!!
Maybe the Predator is an "actual real tune" that "Kicks Real A$$".

The fact is that we encourage people to post about good experiences they have had with products and services. Even if you mention good experiences with a non-supporting vendor, that is allowed under the rules:

I understand what you're saying, savewave... It was the multiple, underlined or bolded references to 06MonteSS, as if he was *possibly* directing traffic to a non-vending member who would therefore charge to flash your car. It just held resemblance to advertisement. I'm a moderator on another established auto forum and a fair amount of the time we have brand new members (Jan 2011 in this case) post similar things who end up being around for one reason.
Just looking out for the best interest of the forum. Carry on.

I'm number 1 in both the 1/4 mile GS total stock time and the GS bolt-on section for now. Bolt-on means that I have bolted something on the motor and I my case it's: CAI (cold air intake), 1 3/4" exhaust headers and a Predator 93 octane tune (out of the box) and I use 93 octane gas with that tune. Just find my post # and it will fill you in better.
EDIT: I just discovered a mistake in the 1/4 mile GS bolt-on listings. The post number of 5533 is an earlier "slower" posting of mine; the correct one for the 11.52 ET is post number 5572 on page 279.
"Thanks" john 5519 because of you I caught the posting # mistake.

LoL, you are reading way too much into it. I appreciate all additional modifications available and no way say that what I have compares....but as far as cost, the ability to actually utilize all that extra horsepower you have on the street, the mod I completed was worth it, (I) really don't have the need at this time to go any faster.
I only posted to say that I used the forum and found useful things for me, and wanted to let the readers know, some forum members act like if you do not spend $$thousands of dollars it is not worth it...so be it.
