Default Best rollbars

It seems everyone always wants the best, so this is it.

If you are needing rollbars to race, place your order soon, so you don't miss this opportunity.
To keep the price low, I only fabricate in batches of 10 after the 10th order.

These are specifically designed for C6 coupe and Z06 bodies and are the only ones on the market
that allow you to remove or reinstall in less than 15 minutes.

Fully frame mounted for maximum protection, including swing-out doorbars and all necessary hardware.

Available in either a 5 or 6 point configuration and powdercoated satin black or optional custom colors.

That 'quick removal' feature looks like a really nice feature/benefit.

The removable feature is fantastic!

I also never wanted a roll bar as I believe I'm more likely to have trouble on I-95 in my daily driver than on the strip...and I didn't want that bar next to my head nor did I want to wear a helmet to work.

Now if you only had one for convertibles...

Having it real easy to remove for all but racing, was the primary design consideration.

Got any pictures of how it mounts to the frame or floor areas? How does the door bar lower mount attach to the car? This is something I'd be interested in, but would like to see the install process.

Initial installation requires removal of seats, door and sill trim, dead pedal, and mufflers. Front carpet can be peeled back during the install and doesn't require full removal. Rear carpet can be slit and holes in the hatch tub floor can be cut from above. Estimated time to complete is 3 hours.

Just curious ... there seem to be metal rollbars on the market only, no (lighter) composite (CFRP, kevlar, etc.) rollbars. Any reason for that?

It's simply that no racing organization's rules allow anything except mild steel or 4130 chromoly.

OK, is it that simple!
Any specific technical/safety reason, as far as you know?

Its all good, since most people in this and every other forums are basically turn key type!

I suspect the cost for development, testing, certification, and required retail pricing will keep alternatives out of the market for well into the future.

Are the rear down bars bolted to the main hoop? Kinda hard to tell from the pictures.

Porsche used a lite weight rollbar, but found that in a severe accident aluminum breaks defeating the benefit of the cage.
while steel will bend it is much less likely to break. Kevlar. carbon fiber also disapate the energy by breaking or delaminating.

NHRA/IHRA legal to 10.00, but when the interest (aka commitment) was not forthcoming, they never went into production.

SCCA and NHRA/IHRA quicker than 10.00 all require a cage, not a rollbar.

AFAIK, no one produces a NHRA/IHRA legal rollbar for C6's. There are a couple who claim they are legal, but don't actually meet the rules.
