1. Octane over 91 usually won't do any good. If you happen to have a situation where the car is getting some knock even with 91, that will cause the system to pull timing to reduce the knock, and you lose a bit of power. In that situation, higher octance could help. But for most driving, 91 is fine. Top Tier (google it) brands will help reduce engine deposits.
2. No special place for the locking lug key, be sure to check in the rear cubby holes under the trunk. If you can't find it, there may be a code # tucked in the owner manual, glove box, etc so you can order a spare wheel key. Get two!
3. No jack. Buy a small compressor that will run off your cig lighter, so you can air up a slow leak and keep going to the tire store without damaging your tire.

Octane and timing/compression must match to get your best performance/mileage. I have run 93 octane in my bolt-on LS3 (11.52 @ 121.89 MPH) and than went to 100 with no improvement, as a matter of fact the car may of slowed down.
For me to have gotten an improvement I would of had to advance the timing because 100 octane "usually" burns slower so more timing is required to get the combustion to happen at the most advantageous point for power production. So no matter what octane your running the time of the spark must match the combustion rate of the fuel for the best performance.

I also purchased a rim and tire in case of a blowout.

I actually lost .30 with 100 octane. If your car is tuned to run 93 octane 100 can slow you down.

also watch out on the 100+ octanes, not all of them are lead free
although some a LL's
low lead
other then possibly smelling like race gas, without a tune or increase in compression it wont do much
actually wait....
yes it does
you may go faster
well think about it... if you pay cash for it, you'll be carrying less weight (you knew someone had to throw sarcasim into this)
or if you're gonna run some nitrous and not want to back timing out, there's an option
