Default 2007 Vette continous clicking noise

My wife's vette battery went dead, I am waiting for AAA to arrive.

My question is towards the rear of the vehicle, even though the battery is dead, I hear a continous clicking sound, more pronouced when you stick your head by either side of the rear wheels, any idea what this continuosly soft clicking noise is?

You may be hearing fuel pump noise. The pump is in the fuel tank, which is the area you referenced. Is the ignition still on?

AAA just came and went and said its not the battery and called for a tow.
I called my chevy service advisor and he assured me its the battery.
I called AAA back to send the battery guy back out as the battery is under warranty, only 1-1/2 years old.

When the battery is hooked up to the AAA truck, the gauges work, lights radio, etc. though once you push the ignition, it cuts off everything and won't turn over. My Chevy advisor said yep, its the battery.

Any ideas?

just because a battery is only 1 1/2 years old, it still can go bad.

just change the battery. always start with the cheap and easy stuff.

Although I have had my vette for only a week, I am the proud owner of a 2001 Trans Am as well... even that car was very sensitive to the health of the battery.... it would start to act "funny" when the battery started to go... even if the battery showed good voltage.... I can imagine the C6 would be much more sensitive with all the tech in them... pretty small batteries in these cars as well..
