Default dual mode exhaust opinion

GM claims only 7 horsepower, or 1.6% increase in the LS3. Driving with and without, it sure feels like more. Do you all think the seven figure may be understated?

It's 6HP, not 7HP and any increase in performance is all in your mind. Don't be like a Harley owner and confuse loud noise with power.

Thats about all we see with a set of Corsa replacement mufflers that are straight through.

With 500rwhp and set of LT headers, OR X-Pipe, and Dual modes... Do you think it makes a difference??

Compared to base mufflers with a single outlet, 2.5" pipes, and on the same setup? Yes!

NO... Sorry I wasnt more clear...

500RWHP, with LT headers, O/R X-pipe, and Z06 Mufflers & M2W controller with valves CLOSED

VS.

500RWHP, with LT headers, O/R X-pipe, and Z06 Mufflers & M2W controller with valves OPEN

Any difference!?!? I swear it feels a touch slower or less responsive... I agree on a stock car the 6RWHP would be negligible, but on a 5000rwhp car, is that 6rwhp loss multiplied?

If the valves are closed you don't have the 6 HP gain anyway, the 6Hp is there only if the valves are open.
If the 500RWHP is still stock displacement and stock compression then no the HP gain isn't multiplied. You are still pumping the same amount of air through the same size pipes. The stock 6HP gain is at higher RPM levels.
