Default Comp Trunion Upgrade Issues

I dont know if this was brought up before but I dont see anything about it so just giving a heads up.

There are threads popping up on other forums lately about the C clips on the trunion upgrade breaking. This can cause some major damage and if I had that done I would consider checking those clips or considering other options.

Jeez... I think there were some older ones than that even that I've seen while looking at the 'upgrade'.

Makes me want to just not mess with it and leave the stock ones in there if it's a crap shoot either way.

I have been running stock rockers with a decent life cam since last Spring. I was planning on doing the trunnion upgrade this winter when I put a bigger cam in but I may pass and buy a set of decent rockers down the line.

Both posts are the same person (same pics). Although he states he has done many of these, the snap ring should not be touching anything. Looks like it was rubbing on the bearing and if the bearing's were seated all the way the snap ring should not touch anything.
