Default A6 owners with regular diffs - any interest in a brace?

This originally started off with the idea to build a brace for an A6 mated to a Z06 diff but after a few people asked about it and realizing I also have a regular C6 diff as a spare, I talked to my cage builder and he said he could do one for a regular one too:

Long story short - after breaking my diff for the third time I decided to have a brace custom built for my setup and thought I'd see if anyone else was interested, both for a Z06 diff and a regular C6 diff running behind a 6L80E transmission.

Here's the original thread:

My PayPal is syclone98@hotmail.com. For anybody who wants one you can send me at least $100 now and then I'll hit you up for the shipping and any remaining balance when they're ready to go.

Well, I never broke anything yet, but this can't hurt as preventitive measures.

Default And here's the finished product...

Just picked it up yesterday morning and installed it last night:

It took me just under two hours to install but that included having to remove my exhaust and experiencing a little delay after dropping a nut in between the gas tank and the pan underneath and then having to remove it. It was definitely a tight fit but despite that, I was able to install the whole assembly all at the once rather than in separate pieces. I'll be sure to post up some installation instructions and pictures in the next few days.

Jim is in the process of making arrangements to have the brackets built on a CNC machine and expects to start shipping everyone's order sometime next week. If however anybody needs theirs sooner than that, let me know as he said he can still manufacture one the usual way and get it shipped out sooner.

For anybody interested in buying one that hasn't already placed an order, just let me know and I can set it up. The price will need to go up a tad to $380 as the cost of the materials was a little more than originally anticipated. Given that, I still think it's a good deal considering the quality of the parts and the workmanship.

On that note, I'm happy to report that it definitely seem to do it's job today as I cut multiple 1.3 60fts and (most importantly) was able to drive home from the track afterwards. Here were my two fastest passes from today:

Nice times and great looking finished product. If its really going to be next week I'm good with waiting for the cnc'd ones. If that's going to drag at all I'd rather not wait though. I only say that because my exhaust is still off and I'd like to do the brace while it is.
