Default Bolt on LS2 Dyno numbers...Guess the ET :)

Before I start diving into any internal mods, I wanted to see what a full bolt on car would do.

I've got a 06' A6 with the following mods :

Kooks 1 3/4" LTs
Kooks catted X pipe
Corsa Sport exhaust
Vararam CAI
FAST 102
Yank 3600 stall

Dyno sheet below:

Car will be run on 17" MT Drag Radials......ET predictions?

11.1-11.3

High 10's next winter.

With those mods, and only a 3200 yank (which sucks) I went 11.3s all day long with a best of 11.27 in good weather. Made right at 390rwhp.

I have same mods except 102 is ported an ECS tune. Est 403 rwhp and ran 3 passes 12.82-5 @ 115.87 only. Thought for sure 11.9x and 120 mph. Didn't happen, really disappointed.

What were your 60' times ?? Were you on street tires or Drag Radials

...My 60' with a FTI 2800 converter is getting 1.62 - 1.66 60' times in GOOD AIR, and GOOD track prep...

I just went back and checked your info.. I see you are a Manual 6 speed... Without even looking, I'm betting your 60' times are 2.xxx You will have a tough time getting low 11 sec runs until you cab 60' in at least 1.70

Exactly right 2.2,2.1... On BStoneRE-11, but I did 3days of roadcourse on them already.

OP should be knocking down 1.5 60's with ease.

The potential is there, but he likely won't see the high 10s unless he does a little weight reduction (front skinnies, passenger seat removal etc.) as well.

Oh you'll achieve that for sure, at most of the local IL or IN tracks at least. If it doesn't happen in the next month or so then it'll be in October/November ...assuming that you don't weigh 500+ pounds of course.

You would run 11.7 with ONLY the yank 3600 converter and a tire.

I understand people have gotten into the 10's with bolt on LS2's but it's far from the norm. I would say an 11.7-11.6 in good air. I know exactly what my bolt on LS2 has ran...

I'm about #20 on the bolt on LS2 fast list with a 12.26@115. I had 1 3/4 LG long tubes, HF cats, Xpipe, Vararam, Vmax, Z06 axle backs running MT 17" DRs. This was the first run of the season this year. Last year I was running 12.3s at 118 with the only change the Vmax. I was curious why the loss of MPH. I just finished installing a Fast 102 and will have the car dyno tuned at DynoSpeed in Memphis this week. I don't have a stall and don't anticipate one any time soon. My best 60 foot times were 1.86.

An 11.7 or 11.6 with those mods in decent weather would be a terrible time.

You aren't going to cut a 1.5x 60's and then coast to a high 11 pass with ~390rwhp.

I ran an 11.6 in crappy weather with 1.6 60' and 400 rwhp, I got an 11.0 in great weather with 440 rwhp and a 1.5 60'. Other C6's in the area seem to be running the same times. I am yet to see this great numbers being posted. On the east coast I can see it. Real world numbers, the OP will see no where near an 11.0

I think with a DA near -500 you should see a 11.00 to 11.10 or very close to it. I have a 3200 stall with the same mods but I have front skinnies and I removed my passenger seat. my best time is a 11.12 @ 124. My race weight was 3450. If you get a 1.55 or better sixty foot you should be right at those times.

Bottom 11's seems kinda optimistic....I think if I'm really lucky 11.5 in negative DA would be awesome.

If you get good weather low 11s should be very easy.

I went 11.2 with similar boltons (K&N intake, Ported FAST 90, catless longtubes and borla exhaust) only major difference being a 3200 converter and had no weight reduction on the car. My car made 388rwhp The 3600 converter is good for 2-3 tenths quicker than the 3200 yank.
