Haha, thanks!
On the topic of integration in other ways with a signal generator... Here's an example of somebody who used it to add timing when the meth system pressurizes.

Shawn from Lethal used one to modify timing with a nitrous system.

You need fuel upgrades to support your power. This thread was only intended to explain what needs to happen to add the functionality.
Unfortunately HP Tuners doesn't support all of the E67 applications (ZR1).
Anybody that needs help getting the parts or getting it set up, feel free to PM me or email me at dsx.tuning@gmail.com. I've done it on a lot of stuff from GTOs, Camaros, Corvettes, and G8s, CTS-Vs... To swapped stuff like a 67 K20 truck with a turbo 408!

That's the beauty of this. Even if there's only one pump, you can still fill up with it once in a while and not have to screw with the tune.

I have a running/driving LSX Nova that I am looking to go to Flex Fuel....
Right now, I have a 2001 LS1 Camaro ECM with a 2003 5.3 and the camaro T56.
What should I do to get to a E38/E40 set-up?
Do I need to buy a new harness or can I change the connector ends on my current harness to hook up to the E38/E40???
Thank you

Here's my take on it. E85 is basically cheap race gas, and boosted cars loooooooove it. There's one glaring problem though... It varies WILDLY from station to station. Beyond that, it isn't always available.
Using a flex fuel sensor solves that issue. The sensor can accommodate the ethanol content variance so you don't have to use some backyard chemistry test tube kit to check the fuel you get. Ethanol not available? That's OK, fill up on gasoline and be on your way. There's no need to flash a different tune if you have to use gasoline. You can go on a long road trip and not worry about having to map out E85 stations.
Long story short, letting the computer seamlessly make adjustments for whatever you put in the tank beats the hell out of the alternative manual methods.

given that and the differences of performance off of a specific fuel, what would be the best way to do a custom tune on your car?

Umm, just do it. I don't really know how else to answer your question.
It's easy to get it running but takes a savvy tuner to really optimize it.
