My drag slicks are 18inch my street tires are 19inch , at the track my speedo stops working around 100mph with the 18 inch slicks. This never happens with the 19inch streets i use to run..........could this be causing my converter to lockup right after it shifts into 3rd . My a4 tranny is not listening to my tuner to stay off ......... Could this be the cause of our issues..........

The size of the wheel doesn't make much difference. It's the diameter of the TIRE that counts.

tire is an inch and a half shorter than stock, have to find out what to do to get this converter not to lock up after shifting into third

my speedo reads nothing in the whole 1/4 most people with converters leaving with a hard launch it doesnt read until we let off at the finish line

TBSS's have the same issue.

thanks guys sounds like I have a tuning problem. I have got to get this lockup to listen to the tuner and not come on right after I shift into third................

you got to try a different tuner or ask on hptuners forum, or its your converter, did it do it with the stock converter
