Default 05 shift **** to 06+ shift ****

I know some people have done a 05 shift **** to a 06+ shift ****. I've searched and searched. Can some one tell me how or send me a link? Thank you!

If you only change the entire shifter assembly, you'll lose manual 2 and 1. You have to disassemble an A4 and A6 assembly and hodge podge them together.

I actually just finished doing this tonight. It's not too bad. You have to drill out the rivet for the shift lock solenoid and drill an access hole to be able to pop a little retainer out.
