PS pulley wobble?
Not sure if I can get a good answer on this one, but I'll try anyway. The car is an 07 Z06. I have just recently replaced my power steering pump due to a failure. I used the auto zone rental tool to remove and press the pulley back on to the new pump's shaft. Great tool by the way.. really easy to use.
Upon putting everything back together and starting the car, I noticed that the pulley has a slight wobble. The shaft itself looks to be straight and true. It isn't affecting the belt at all. I haven't checked to see if it straightens up with more RPM. I will do that tomorrow. I never remember noticing a wobble before but my memory is half gone anyway. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Thanks for any info.

For those of you who may check this thread later. The pulley puller somehow bent the pulley somehow is all I am guessing. I recommend saving yourself time/trouble and buying a new PS pulley when you have to change our your PS pump. It's $25 at the stealership.
If you have any questions about the process just let me know via PM, I'm happy to help.
That being said, I've gotten very good at pulley the alternator bracket off the car with only removing the alternator haha

Even a better design would be great. The GM PS pumps are poorly made at best. My pump kicked the bucket at 27k miles. It's a mess that's going to take me a few hours to clean once I get this all squared away. With my luck, I'm sure the high pressure hose will start leaking now in a couple weeks and I'll have to do it all over again.

Remove the whole bracket with PS pump mounted to it, install PS pump to bracket, then reinstall. Can't get it off with ABS module there.
