Ls3 fuel pump same as ls7?
What is the difference between a stock LS3 fuel pump and a stock LS7 fuel pump?
Many people have told me to upgrade to a z06 fuel pump, when i called GM directly they advised me my car has the z06 fuel pump and they are the same part number. Is that true?

DSOMC6 what year did GM start using the same pump/module for the LS3/LS7?

My reasons are: 1.) I want to be "sure" that I have the Z06 fuel capacity, 2.) my sensor is bad, and the pump has the fuel sensor as part of it already (for that fuel tank), and 3.) I have 40+k miles on the car, and it will have a new "for sure Z06" fuel pump in it.
I'll post out here to this thread, if I find different model numbers, when they get into mine.

I'm going to be going into my 2011 soon for a sensor replacement, and to be sure, I'm also having them replace the LS3 pump with a "for sure" LS7 (Z06 fuel pump).

He said I had the earlier (now obsolete) GM part number, which is now superceded by a different GM part number.
GrandSportMan, I bet yours does too.

This was my understanding as well, that they use a specific LS3 pump and LS7 pump when building cars, but for replacement they only specify the LS7 pump for both.
The technician at the dealer personally confirmed on mine a couple weeks ago that my 2011 GS (LS3 engine) did have a "Z06" fuel pump in the left tank, while replacing my fuel sensor under warranty.

I may have misunderstood, but that sounds like he confirmed you have the LS3 pump, NOT the LS7 pump. There have been other threads where 2013 owners had theirs checked and they had the LS3 pump.
They told me (at the dealership) that this LS7 pump was later superseded by part number 19149687, and that is what they would use today, if it would have needed to be replaced.
I grilled them pretty hard, because I told them that I did NOT want to upgrade later, if I decided I wanted to go for more power in the future. They assured me I had an LS7 fuel pump.......

Seadawg is there some way to find out about the 2010 GSs? That would be good info which could save a lot of work if I or someone else were doing a supercharger on a 2010 GS.
If the 2013 has the LS3 pump when the 2011 has the LS7 does not make much sense back stepping after changing over, etc.
PS: I know I could try finding out the factory part # from the dealer for the 2010.

On this fuel pump, I had a unique situation, where they were physically inside my tank, and I was going to pay the dealer for the new Z06 pump (with no additional labor). They had the new pump there, so I believe them, because they could have made more money by installing the brand new pump.
BUT, when I install either nitrous or a SC, I'm still also going to install a fuel pressure monitor of some type, because starving for fuel is still my fear, and this is my daily driver.

For those that have the older 225lph fuel pump assmbly and don't need to drop the fuel tank(s) for repair reasons, I would just run a KB boost-a-pump. I've never had an issue with this set-up and it supports 600rwhp easy.
If you're planning on north of 600rwhp down the road (or dropping the tank(s) for other reasons, you can just add-in another wahlbro 225lph (both pumps will fit in the fuel module bucket). This will support somewhere north of 800rwhp and the cost of the pump is less than $100.
Another option (if you drop the tank) would be just replace the 225lph pump with a wahlbro 400. It's the same size/flow as the Z06, cost approx $125. No need to spend $250+ on an entire fuel module assembly if yours is trouble free.
