2008 Corvette Fan Sensor Location?
On my 2008 Corvette with the LS3 engine where is the fan sensor location(the one that turns on the electric fan motor not the one to the gauge)? Where is the fan relay located? The electric cooling fan on radiator is not coming on at any temp, it caught me in traffic and got up to 250 degrees. When I got it home it was between 230 & 240 degrees and time I got the hood open with it running it was over 250 degrees and the fan was not running then I shut it off instantly. I can put 12 volts directly to the fan and it works. By it not coming on at any temperature I suspect it is the fan temperature sensor or fan relay. Thanks,

There is a connector mounted to the side of the fan half way down on the passenger side. Pull it apart and check for burned wires inside each half. Its a common problem on these cars. You can bypass that connector and be good to go.

I'd like to thank everyone for your valuable help!! On the outside the three prong connector looked new, but on the inside, you could tell it had melted. I by-passed it & it is working fine now. Once again, THANKS, Billy
