Understanding Tire/Wheels numbers
My current setup:
Michelin ps2:
245/40/18 - Front
285/35/19 - Rear
Stock rims -
Front: 18 x 8.5 56MM offset
Rear: 19 x 10 79MM offset
I'm looking to get the TSW Nurburgring but they only come in this:
Front: 18 x 9 50MM offset
Rear: 19 x 10.5 65MM offset
They recommend these tires: Front - 235/40-18 Rear - 265/35-19
My tires are less than year old and don't want to get news ones. My Q is how does the wheel .5 difference and 5-10MM difference in offset affect using my existing tires? I tried understanding what all these numbers mean but some of it just goes over my head

Be cautious off some of the answers/posts you'll find here. People will tell you "I used xxxxxx size and they fit fine". You'll find their idea of a fine fit and your idea may differ.
