Shocks are here:thu mbs:
Eating some dinner and getting ready to start putting them into sets. I will be sending out payment emails either tonight or tomorrow. The UPS guy was informed that he will be a busy boy on Monday
Thank you everyone for their patience during the delays and I hope you enjoy.
Thanks

Blk 08,
Sorry I keep missing your calls, but you are calling about 9pm(ish). Do you want me to run the rest of your card and send them out?

Heel & Toe
I received mine on Friday. They look great! Probably won't install until over the winter but I'm looking forward to trying them out. I will probably do sway bars and maybe higher rate springs to compliment the shocks as well as the wider / stickier tires I'm planning for.

Burning Brakes
I got my DRM Bilsteins on this weekend! Also changed oil, and installed Stoptech Sport Rotors and Street Performance pads. Did a full brake bleed with Motul RBF600. I'll be able to give a better report on the shocks after VIR next weekend, but a 40 mile ride near home shows improved response to bumps and irregularities. The rear end twitch on high speed shifts seems significantly better.
A couple of notes on installation for you DIY guys. Changing the shock out is greatly facilitated with the calipers and rotors removed. I changed rotors and pads at the same time, so took the calipers and rotors off and then changed the shocks. Much more room to maneuver this way. I found out I'm man enough to compress to the socks and hold them in the compressed state for removal and installation. It didn't seem that hard and it's really quick compared to using zip ties and other contraptions to hold the shock in compression. I would recommend the universal shock absorber tool to remove the nut on top of the front OEM shocks. I couldn't find one locally and just used a big Vice Grip to hold the shaft. That was the worst part of the whole job.

Are more of these available at this price, or only those that got in on the original GB?
